Hi. Access to the baking mad website is something that I either agreed to or just was transferd to from the paper based Allinson Baking Club. My earliest paper record dates from September 1990. I am the household baker and have been for about 30 years
My wife died recently and I have found it almost impossible to stop paper mail catalogues etc and e mail material addressed to my much loved and no late Shirley Maycock Starting this things is easy and I am wondering if you have procedures in place to effectively address death notifications conveyed to you by immediate relatives and others `clearing up` family affairs.
You may care to examine your own procedures so as to determine if your staff advise that you can do nothing without speaking to the dead partner.
Is it really necessary to use something carrying the simple name of `cookies` that so far as I can see, is perhaps `good` for yourselves. I do wonder though if they are good for us lot out here known as customers.
Please reply as this is to me an important matter. It has taken me something over 4 months to almost stop over 200 live contacts that were on my wifes computer. It is amazing how many businesses can make money with 0845 numbers.
Take care of yourselves.
Thanks meantime
Barry Maycock aged 80
Hi Barry
Thank you for contacting us and our condolences on the passing of your wife. Please could you email info@bakingmad.com with any details of your late wives login/account and we will close the account immediately. We do have procedures in place to deal with relatives queries in these circumstances, however if you have notified us and we have not acted, please could you include details of this in your email so we can review our procedures.
