Ingredients

  • 2tsp 2tsp Easy bake yeast (we use Allinson) Easy bake yeast
  • 450g 16 oz Strong white bread flour (we use Allinson) Strong white bread flour
  • 1tsp 1tsp Salt
  • 2tbsp 2tbsp Unrefined golden granulated sugar (we use Billington's) Unrefined golden granulated sugar
  • 2 2 Egg(s) (free range)
  • 6tbsp 6tbsp Water
  • 2tbsp 2tbsp Milk (whole)
  • 125g 4½ oz Butter (unsalted) melted and cooled

The Method Enter Bake mode

  1. Classic mode Step 1

    Place the yeast in the bottom of the bread machine, add the flour, salt and sugar.

    Beat  the eggs and add to the flour. Pour on the water and milk and cooled butter.

    • 6tbsp 6tbsp Water
    • 2tbsp 2tbsp Milk (whole)
    • 125g 4½ oz Butter (unsalted) melted and cooled
  3. Classic mode Step 3

    Set machine to the basic white bread setting (approx. 4 hours).
