Ingredients

  • 225g 8 oz Self-raising white flour (we use Allinson) Self-raising white flour
  • 75g 2¾ oz Stork (low fat)
  • 25g 1 oz Half Spoon granulated sugar Half Spoon granulated sugar
  • 100g 3½ oz Dried cranberries
  • 1 1 Egg(s) (free range) beaten
  • 1tbsp 1tbsp Milk (whole)

The Method Enter Bake mode

  1. Classic mode Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 190°C (170°C fan, 375°F, gas mark 5).  Lightly grease a baking tray.

  2. Classic mode Step 2

    Sieve the flour into a large bowl, add the margarine and rub in until mixture becomes like breadcrumbs.  Stir in sugar and cranberries.

    Add the egg and stir in with milk until a stiff mixture is formed.

    Place small rocky piles of mixture onto the baking tray.  Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and set.
