Hi Vina1,

somewhere in the dark recesses of my "Baking Drawer" in the Kitchen I have a couple of Malt Loaf recipes, one using old-fashioned live baker's yeast or sourdough leaven and one using dried active yeast. I will see if I can locate them and then test bake (to make sure I get the ingredients and method correct) and then submit as a "Member's Recipe".

It may not be for a few days, as I have a busy schedule right now.

Hi,

Look forward to you submitting this gem!

Re: What makes a malt loaf sticky?

I have found the recipe, baked the "dried active yeast" version to test, and submitted it as "Malted Country Grain Loaf, Hand Baking" via email, as I can't get the web submission to work with uploading photographs as ".jpg" files. It should appear in the "Member's Recipes" section. Please try it, and please submit a review so I can see what you think of it.

Thanks.
