nothing they didnt turn up.
I didn't recieve any free yeast-most disappointng,I thought that I was logging on to a genuine site.
not ARRIVED!
I had my first attempt at making bagels with my free yeast. Not bad for a first attempt, but definite room for improvement!
turkish flat bread topped with poppy seeds. lovely
I made some wholemeal bread, with my free packets of yeast. Had been struggling to make a decent loaf of wholemeal, but tried using Allinsons bread flour and yeast, and no problems, a delicious loaf of bread finally! The packets of yeast are a good size too so you use the whole packets in a recipe rather than using half and having to leave the packet open and worry about using it up in 48 hours.

Made straight white loaves which disappeared like snow on the equator. Thanks for the freebie.
NOTHING I never recieved any yeast at all.
Sun dried tomato bread...too scrummy, it didn't last long ![]()
Just some simple and tasty bread made with the Country Grain flour. It's so satisfying to see the dough rise and then smell the bread baking throughout the house. Makes you appreciate the simple things in life.
White loaves - beautiful white loaves!![]()
just the usual - the bread of life - a plain white crusty loaf. Yum yum
I made a simple white loaf and I was astonished to find it was lovely. It was easier than I thought it would be to make and very tasty. I will now go on to bigger and better things .My confidence to bake is growing.
What free yeast - have I missed the boat?
With the 1st sachet I made the Parker House Rolls (posted a review) using my bread maker to do the dough & then finished off in the oven - absolutely gorgeous they were!!
With the 2nd sachet I'm going to try the Butternut Sqaush bread - I love speciality breads!
Thank you Baking Mad for the freebie yeast. Reading the forum it seems you've had a lot of hassle over this venture and I hope it doesn't put you off doing another in future. My yeast arrived within 2 weeks of applying, with no problems. xox
is there anymore of the freebie yeast available?
I used them for the bread in my bread maker - fantastic!
I baked a multi-grain loaf - absolutely delicious. I've become completely obsessed with breadmaking and managed to find more of the Easy Bake Yeast in the Co-op at the weekend, so I can make another loaf tomorrow.
Three seeded bread - Delicious! Didn't last long.. too yummy..:) Will buy that yeast again, thanks.
No yeast yet but it's only a week since I joined. Looking forward to getting it though.
