Ingredients

  • 225ml 7⅝ fl oz Tea strong, at room temperature
  • 2tbsp 2tbsp Butter (unsalted) melted
  • 1tbsp 1tbsp Golden syrup
  • 1½tsp 1½tsp Allspice (ground)
  • 1½tsp 1½tsp Sea salt
  • 150g 5⅜ oz Very strong wholemeal bread flour Very strong wholemeal bread flour
  • 300g 10⅝ oz Very strong white bread flour Very strong white bread flour
  • 1½tsp 1½tsp Easy bake yeast Easy bake yeast
  • 4tbsp 4tbsp Glacé ginger chopped
  • 100g 3½ oz Sultanas

    Put the ingredients (except the ginger and sultanas) into the bread maker pan in the order specified for your particular model (see manufacturer’s handbook).
