Ingredients

For the filling

  • 2 2 Bramley apple(s) peeled, cored and diced.
  • 1tbsp 1tbsp Truvia granulated sweetener
  • 2tbsp 2tbsp Water

For the crumble topping

  • 100g 3½ oz Plain white flour (we use Allinson) Plain white flour
  • 100g 3½ oz Margarine
  • 2tbsp 2tbsp Truvia granulated sweetener
  • 100g 3½ oz Porridge oats
  • 1tsp 1tsp Cinnamon

The Method Enter Bake mode

  1. Classic mode Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan 160°C, gas mark 4).

     

  2. Classic mode Step 2

    Place the diced apple in a heavy bottomed saucepan, add the sweetener to taste and the water, then bring to a simmer and cook the apples for about five minutes, until tender.

     

    Ingredients for this step

    • 2 2 Bramley apple(s) peeled, cored and diced.
    • 1tbsp 1tbsp Truvia granulated sweetener
    • 2tbsp 2tbsp Water
  3. Classic mode Step 3

    To make the crumble mix the flour and margarine together to get breadcrumb texture, then stir in the sweetener, oats and cinnamon.

    • 100g 3½ oz Plain white flour (we use Allinson) Plain white flour
    • 100g 3½ oz Margarine
    • 2tbsp 2tbsp Truvia granulated sweetener
    • 100g 3½ oz Porridge oats
    • 1tsp 1tsp Cinnamon
  4. Classic mode Step 4

    Spoon the apple into four ramekin dishes then top with a thick layer of crumble topping. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes
