Muesli Bars/ Traybake Ingredients

175 grams Butter
100 grams Light Muscovado Sugar (Billington's) Light Muscovado Sugar (Billington's)
3 tbsp Golden Syrup (Silver Spoon) Golden Syrup (Silver Spoon)
100 grams Mixed Dried Fruit raisins, chopped dates, apricots or cranberries
4 tbsp Mixed Seeds pumpkins, sesame, sunflower seeds
250 grams Porridge Oats (Jordans)

How to make Muesli Bars/ Traybake

  1. Set the oven to 180°C/ 160°C fan/ Mark 4. Line the base of a shallow baking tray (approx 28x20cm) with baking parchment method tip
  2. Place the butter, sugar and syrup in a medium pan and stir until melted. Add the fruit, seeds and oats and stir well
  3. Spread the mixture in the tin and pack down well
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until lightly golden. Leave to cool in the tin until cold then turn out and cut into slices
