Brioche from your breadmaker Ingredients

2 tsp Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)
450 grams Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson) Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson)
2 Free Range Eggs Free Range Eggs
6 tbsp Water
2 tbsp Milk Milk
125 grams Butter (melted and cooled)

How to make Brioche from your breadmaker

  1. Place the yeast in the bottom of the bread machine, add the flour and salt.
  2. Beat the eggs and add to the flour. Pour on the water and milk and cooled butter.
  3. Set machine to the basic white bread setting (approx. 4 hours).

"This recipe worked well, but turned out more like a bread than a brioche. Clarification is required: salt is mentioned in the instructions, but not in the list of ingredients. I added a teaspoon of salt. No sugar is mentioned and brioche is normally sweet. The plus side of this was that the loaf did not overbrown. "
