Ingredients

1 Eggs
300 ml Dry ‘brut’ Champagne
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Billington's Granulated Sugar
1 tbsp Skimmed Milk Powder
2 tbsp Butter
450 grams Allinson Strong White Bread Flour
1 sachet Allinsons Easy Bake Yeast 1 x 7g sachet

Method

  1. Put the ingredients into the bread maker baking pan in the order specified for your particular model (see manufacturer’s handbook). Set to the dough program.
  2. Knead the dough and divide into 8-10 pieces.
  3. Shape into bread rolls and place on a greased baking tray.
  4. Leave to prove until double in size. Brush with egg glaze. Meanwile preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
