Rye and Raisin Bread Ingredients

225 ml Warm Water
2 tbsp Sunflower Oil
2 tbsp Black Treacle (Silver Spoon) Black Treacle (Silver Spoon)
200 grams Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White) Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White)
200 grams Rye Flour
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1 x 7g sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)
100 grams Raisins

How to make Rye and Raisin Bread

  1. Put the ingredients (except the raisins) into the bread maker baking pan in the order specified for your particular model (see manufacturer’s handbook).
  2. Set to the basic white program.
  3. Add the raisins at the time for added ingredients as directed by the manufacturer of your machine.
  4. Remove the dough from machine and knead until smooth.
  5. Shape the dough into an oblong.
  6. Place onto a greased baking sheet, cut slats across the top and leave to prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
