Wild Rice and Carrot Loaf

The rice and carrot add flavour and colour to this bread. Try serving with cheese and pickles! Please refer to your individual bread maker instructions with regards to baking time.

Wild Rice and Carrot Loaf Ingredients
| 100 ml | Warm Water | |
| 100 ml | Carrot Juice Warmed | |
| 200 grams | Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson) | ![]() |
| 200 grams | Country Grain Bread Flour (Allinson) | ![]() |
| 50 grams | Wild Rice Cooked and cooled | |
| 100 grams | Carrots Grated | |
| 2 tsp | Sea Salt | |
| 1.25 tsp | Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) | ![]() |

How to make Wild Rice and Carrot Loaf

- Put the ingredients into the bread maker baking pan in the order specified for your particular model (see manufacturer’s handbook). Set to the basic white program.
- Remove the dough from machine and knead until smooth.
- Shape the dough into an oblong.
- Place onto a greased baking sheet, cut slats across the top and leave to prove until double in size.
- Bake at 190°C/fan 170 °C/Gas Mark 5 for 30 minutes.
