  1. On a surface lightly dusted with icing sugar lightly knead the ready to roll icings until they are soft and pliable. Take balls of white icing, larger for the penguin ‘parents’ and smaller for the penguin ‘children’, and shape them into rounded cones with flat base.
  2. Next take a small amount of the orange icing and roll into small balls and then use your thumb to press them into ‘pear drop’ shapes for the penguins feet. Use a fine paint brush to dab some water onto the ‘feet’ then attach them to the penguins body. Then make small cone shapes for the beaks.
  3. Next roll out some of the black icing until it it about 4-5mm thick then cut out triangle shapes large enough to cover the back of you penguin. Carefully stick this onto the penguin using water as the glue. Make sure the pointy tip of the black icing sits on top of the penguins head. Carefully curl out the front edges of the black icing for the wings.
  4. To finish the penguins faces attach two small balls of black icing for eyes and finally the orange beak you made earlier.
