Chocolate Chip Fairy Cakes Ingredients

0.50 tsp Baking Powder
50 grams Dark Chocolate Chips (Silver Spoon Create) Dark Chocolate Chips (Silver Spoon Create)
50 grams Mini Fudge Chunks Mini Fudge Chunks

How to make Chocolate Chip Fairy Cakes

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C, fan 170°C, gas mark 5
  2. Beat together the margarine, caster sugar, eggs and vanilla extract until smooth. method tip
  3. Sieve the flour and baking powder into the mixture and combine. method tip
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips and fudge chunks
  5. Spoon the mixture into 12 cakes cases and bake for 12 - 15 minutes until golden method tip
  6. Leave to cool on a wire rack before decorating with fondant and sprinkle decorations
