225 ml Milk Milk
350 grams Self Raising White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly) Self Raising White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly)
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 Apple(s) cooking, cored and diced

How to make Low Calorie Half Spoon Apple and Cinnamon Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C, 400°F, Gas mark 6.
  2. Place the butter, Silver Spoon Half Spoon sugar, eggs and milk in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy. method tip
  3. Lightly fold in the flour and cinnamon.
  4. Stir in the diced apples and spoon into 12 muffin cases in a muffin tray.
  5. Bake at 200°C, 400°F Gas mark 6 for 20-25 minutes. method tip
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

"My husband ,new to baking, tried this recipe and the result was a complete disaster. He followed the recipe to the letter and I think the amount of milk recommended was a bit excessive. Was this a clerical error?"

"I have just made these with my son and i'm not that impressed by them. They look good, and the apple pieces are nice, but even though i increased the amount of cinnamon as recommended by previous post, they were still bland. I won't use this recipe again, but will look for another muffin recipe which uses apple."
