Allinson Lighter Malted Brown Loaf

By blending together Allinson premium White Very Strong Bread Flour with Allinson Country Grain Bread flour you will create a higher rising loaf with a malty flavour

Allinson Lighter Malted Brown Loaf Ingredients
| 200 grams | Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White) | ![]() |
| 100 grams | Country Grain Bread Flour (Allinson) | ![]() |
| 1.25 tsp | Salt | |
| 1.50 tsp | Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) | ![]() |
| 0.50 tbsp | Runny Honey | |
| 0.50 tbsp | Sunflower Oil | |
| 170 ml | Warm Water Warm |

How to make Allinson Lighter Malted Brown Loaf

- Put the flours, salt and yeast into a bowl.
- Mix to a soft dough with the honey, oil and water.
- Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
- Shape as desired and put into an appropriate greased tin. Leave to prove until double in size.
- Preheated the oven to 220°C/fan 210°C/gas mark 7 and immediately turn the heat down to 200°C/fan 190°C/gas mark 6. Add your chosen topping/glaze if using and place in an oven
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. When cooked the loaf should sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
