200 grams Very Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson) Very Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson)
100 grams Country Grain Bread Flour (Allinson) Country Grain Bread Flour (Allinson)
1.25 tsp Salt
1.50 tsp Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)
0.50 tbsp Runny Honey
0.50 tbsp Sunflower Oil
170 ml Warm Water Warm

How to make Allinson Lighter Malted Brown Loaf

  1. Put the flours, salt and yeast into a bowl. method tip
  2. Mix to a soft dough with the honey, oil and water.
  3. Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes. method tip
  4. Shape as desired and put into an appropriate greased tin. Leave to prove until double in size. method tip
  5. Preheated the oven to 220°C/fan 210°C/gas mark 7 and immediately turn the heat down to 200°C/fan 190°C/gas mark 6. Add your chosen topping/glaze if using and place in an oven
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes. When cooked the loaf should sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
