Plaited Herb Bread

This bread has malted wheat flakes, rye flour and malted barley in the flour. The herbs compliment this perfectly. Spend a little time making this bread to impress your family with.

Plaited Herb Bread Ingredients
| 650 grams | Country Grain Bread Flour (Allinson) | ![]() |
| 1 tsp | Salt | |
| 1 tsp | Sugar | |
| 15 grams | Hard White Vegetable Fat | |
| 7 grams | Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) | ![]() |
| 375 ml | Water Warmed | |
| 25 grams | Mixed Dried Fruit (Basil, Parsley, Oregano), chopped finely | |

How to make Plaited Herb Bread

- Place all ingredients into a mixer with a dough hook attached.
- Mix to a soft dough, knead for 5 minutes.
- If mixing by hand knead for a further 5 minutes.
- Split the dough into 3 pieces roll into ropes and plait.
- Place onto a greased baking tray and glaze, prove until double in size.
- Bake at 190°C/fan 170°C/gas mark 5 for 35 minutes.
