Plaited Herb Bread Ingredients

650 grams Country Grain Bread Flour (Allinson) Country Grain Bread Flour (Allinson)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
15 grams Hard White Vegetable Fat
7 grams Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)
375 ml Water Warmed
25 grams Mixed Dried Fruit (Basil, Parsley, Oregano), chopped finely

How to make Plaited Herb Bread

  1. Place all ingredients into a mixer with a dough hook attached.
  2. Mix to a soft dough, knead for 5 minutes. method tip
  3. If mixing by hand knead for a further 5 minutes.
  4. Split the dough into 3 pieces roll into ropes and plait.
  5. Place onto a greased baking tray and glaze, prove until double in size.
  6. Bake at 190°C/fan 170°C/gas mark 5 for 35 minutes.
