Cherry Jam Ingredients

1.10 kg Cherries stoned
120 ml Water
3 tbsp Lemon Juice
1.40 kg Granulated Sugar (Silver Spoon Homegrown) Granulated Sugar (Silver Spoon Homegrown)
250 ml Certo Apple Pectin

How to make Cherry Jam

  1. Simmer the cherries in the water and lemon juice in the covered pan for 15 minutes. method tip
  2. Add the sugar and heat gently, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved
  3. Bring to a full rolling boil and boil rapidly for 1 minute
  4. Stir in the Certo and continue boiling for 1 minute method tip
  5. Remove from the heat, skim if necessary, cool slightly, pot and cover method tip
