Seville Orange Marmalade Ingredients

8 Seville Oranges
2 Lemon
600 ml Water
2.25 kg Granulated Sugar (Silver Spoon Homegrown) Granulated Sugar (Silver Spoon Homegrown)
250 ml Certo Apple Pectin
0.50 tsp Bicarbonate Of Soda

How to make Seville Orange Marmalade

  1. Peel the fruit and remove half of the white pith. Shred the peel. Cut up the pulp, discarding the pips and tough skin.
  2. Place in the pressure cooker the peel, pulp, water and bicarbonate of soda. Bring quickly to 10lbs pressure and maintain at this pressure for 10 minutes.
  3. Reduce the heat gradually. Remove the lid and add the sugar
  4. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes
  5. Remove from the heat and stir in the Certo. Pot after 5 minutes cooling
