"Super, easy recipe, great taste. No mention of spice in recipe, not a problem, I added a teaspoon of cinnamon which always compliments apples. Almond extract also great. Thanks for all the lovely ideas."

Bakingmad: "Thank you for noticing this. We have now included 1 tsp of Cinnamon in the recipe. "

"I made these today for my son's teacher - they look and taste DELICIOUS!!! I put 2 tsp of Cinnamon in though as I like it. I got 12 BIG Muffins from the mixture, I filled the cases almost to the top. Fab Recipe!! "

"These were amazing. The measurements make way more than 12 and I was using muffin tins, so that's incorrect, more like 24. You could rename them apple crumble cakes, as they have that texture. Great cakes so easy to make! "

"lovely muffins, easy to make and taste yummy! Agree with the previous poster, i made 20 muffins, but you do need to fill the cases quite full, they didn't rise too much. "

"These taste great but I would say the recipe is more suited to 24 smaller muffins rather than 12 large as mine came out looking rather messy! Cooking the apples in the sugar and butter first gives the muffins a lovely taste and texture. Will definitely be making these again."
