This Sour Cream Pastry is a lovely flaky pastry a little like rough puff pastry, very easy to make and very tasty. If liked add a tablespoon of wholegrain mustard to the mixture too.

125 grams Butter cold
225 grams Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly) Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly)
0.50 tsp Salt
150 ml carton sour cream

How to make Sour Cream Pastry

  1. Cut the butter into cubes and place in a food processor with the flour, salt, whiz until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs (or rub the butter into the flour with your fingertips).
  2. Add the sour cream and blend until the mixture forms a soft dough. Turn out onto a lightly floured work surface and pat into a smooth ball. Chill for at least 30 minutes,
