Ingredients

400 grams Allinson Strong White Bread Flour
100 grams Butter Melted
1 tsp Sea Salt
2 Eggs
25 grams Sugar
225 ml Milk Lukewarm
2 Pears Peeled And Cut Into Small Cubes
150 grams Stilton Cheese Cut Into Small Cubes
1 sachet Allinsons Easy Bake Yeast

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients into a mixer with a dough hook attached.
  2. Mix to soft dough and knead for 5 minutes.
  3. If mixing by hand, put the dry ingredients into a bowl and sprinkle on the yeast. Mix to a soft dough, turn onto a floured board and knead for 10 minutes.
  4. Roll the dough out to a large circle. method tip
  5. Place the cheese and pears in the centre, wet the edges and flip one half of the dough over to form a semi circle, seal the edges and brush with egg.
  6. Leave to prove until double in size.
  7. Bake at 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5 for 30 minutes.
