Billington's Light Muscovado has a warm honey colour and creamy fudge flavour! Perfect combination with bananas. Quick to make for mid week pudding!

Ingredients

4 Bananas
175 grams Billington's Light Muscovado sugar
½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
pinch Nutmeg
175 grams Butter
175 grams Allinson Nature Friendly Self Raising Flour
110 grams Rolled Oats
50 grams Walnuts Chopped

Method

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them thickly.
  2. Mix them with half the sugar and all the spices.
  3. Spoon into a buttered ovenproof baking dish.
  4. In a mixing bowl rub the butter into the flour.
  5. Stir in the rest of the sugar, oats and walnuts.
  6. Sprinkle evenly over the bananas.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5 until the top is crisp and golden.
