Chocolate Bread and Butter Pudding Ingredients

75 grams Butter
400 grams Hot Cross Bun Loaf sliced
2 tbsp drinking chocolate
2 Happy Eggs beaten Happy Eggs
250 ml JUST MILK JUST MILK
250 ml single cream
100 grams Chocolate dark, grated
3 tbsp Golden Granulated Sugar (Billington's) Golden Granulated Sugar (Billington's)
2 tbsp Almonds flaked

How to make Chocolate Bread and Butter Pudding

  1. Butter a 1.5litre baking dish with the butter. Use remaining butter to butter the sliced bread. Cut into triangles, and arrange neatly and compactly in the dish
  2. Mix together the drinking chocolate, eggs, milk, single cream, grated chocolate and sugar. Pour the cream mix evenly over the bread. Set aside to soak for 15 minutes method tip
  3. Preheat the oven to 160°C fan/ 180°C/ Gas 5
  4. Sprinkle the pudding with the flaked almonds. Bake for 40 minutes
  5. Serve hot with custard or cream.
