Ingredients
| 400 grams | Allinson Country Grain Bread Flour | ![]() |
| 50 grams | Fine oatmeal | |
| 1 ½ tsp | Salt | |
| 2 tbsp | Sugar | |
| 75 grams | Ready to eat cherries Semi dried | |
| 1 ¼ tsp | Allinsons Easy Bake Yeast | ![]() |
| 3 tbsp | Sunflower Oil | |
| 115 ml | Milk | |
| 115 ml | Water | |
| Egg Wash To Glaze | ||
| 1 ½ tbsp | Jumbo porridge oats |
Method

- Put the flour, oatmeal, salt, sugar, cherries and yeast into a bowl.
- Mix to a soft dough with the oil, milk and water.
- Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
- Shape as desired and put into an appropriate greased tin.
- Leave to prove until double in size then brush the loaf with egg glaze and sprinkle with oats. Preheated to 220°C/fan 200°C/Gas Mark 7
- Bake in an oven and immediately turn the heat down to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
