Cinnamon and Sultana Pinwheels Ingredients

225 ml Water Warm
250 grams Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson) Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson)
100 grams Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium Wholemeal) Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium Wholemeal)
100 grams Country Grain Bread Flour (Allinson) Country Grain Bread Flour (Allinson)
1 tsp Sea Salt
50 grams Honey
25 grams Butter
1 sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1 x 7g sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)
50 grams Golden Icing Sugar (Billington's) To Fill & Glaze Golden Icing Sugar (Billington's)
100 grams Sultanas To Fill & Glaze
2 tbsp Cinnamon ground
2 tbsp Apricot Glaze

How to make Cinnamon and Sultana Pinwheels

  1. Put the ingredients into the bread maker baking pan in the order specified for your particular model (see manufacturer’s handbook).
  2. Set to the dough program.
  3. Roll the dough into a large rectangle.
  4. Sprinkle over the sultanas, cinnamon and icing sugar. method tip
  5. Roll up the dough like a Swiss roll.
  6. Cut into 12 slices (pinwheels).
  7. Place onto a greased baking sheet and leave to prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5 method tip
  8. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve brushed with apricot glaze.
