Coconut Loaf Ingredients
| 300 grams | Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White) | ![]() |
| 100 grams | Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson) | ![]() |
| 1 tsp | Sea Salt | |
| 125 grams | Desiccated coconut | |
| 50 grams | Golden Caster Sugar (Billington's) | ![]() |
| 1 sachet | Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1 x 7g sachet | ![]() |
| 50 grams | Butter Melted | |
| 1 | Happy Eggs Beaten | ![]() |
| 225 ml | JUST MILK Warmed | ![]() |
| 1 tbsp | Desiccated coconut To Top |

How to make Coconut Loaf

- Place all the ingredients into a mixer with a dough hook attached.
- Mix to a soft dough and knead for 5 minutes.
- If mixing by hand, put the dry ingredients into a bowl and sprinkle on the yeast.
- Mix to a soft dough with the butter, egg and milk.
- Turn onto a floured board and knead for 10 minutes. Divide the dough into 3 ropes.
- Plait the ropes into a braid and place into a greased 900g/2 lb loaf tin.
- Leave to prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5
- Brush with water, top with the coconut and bake for 30 minutes.
