Easter Bread with Nut Brittle Ingredients
| 475 grams | Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White) | ![]() |
| 2 | Lemon zest | |
| 4 tbsp | Golden Granulated Sugar (Billington's) | ![]() |
| 1 tsp | Salt | |
| 1 sachet | Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1 x 7g sachet | ![]() |
| 3 tbsp | Melted Butter | |
| 2 | Medium Eggs Beaten | |
| 115 ml | JUST MILK | ![]() |
| 3 tbsp | Water | |
| 1 | Medium Egg Yolk To Top, Beaten | |
| 0.50 tsp | Ground Cinnamon To Top | |
| 1 tbsp | Sugar To Top | |
| 15 grams | Flaked Almonds To Top |

How to make Easter Bread with Nut Brittle

- Put the flours, lemon zest, sugar, salt and yeast into a bowl.
- Mix to a soft dough with the butter, eggs, milk and water.
- Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
- Shape the dough into a ring shape and place onto a baking sheet.
- Leave to prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6
- Meanwhile mix together the topping ingredients and use these to top the dough before baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
