Ingredients
| 225 grams | Allinson Premium White Very Strong Bread Flour | ![]() |
| ½ tsp | Salt | |
| 15 grams | Butter Melted | |
| 1 sachet | Allinsons Easy Bake Yeast | ![]() |
| 125 ml | Water Lukewarm | |
| 1 | Egg | |
| Vegetable Oil To Cook | ||
| Jam and sugar To Serve |
Method

- Place all the ingredients into a large bowl, mix and then knead for 10 minutes (or knead for 5 minutes in a machine with a dough hook attached).
- Cut the dough into 8 and shape into balls. Leave to prove until double in size on a greased tray.
- Heat the oil in a pan to a medium heat (140°C) and deep fry the donuts until golden brown, drain and toss in sugar.
- When cool, place the jam in a piping bag. Make a small hole in the side of each donut, fill with jam and serve.
