Lemon Ring Ingredients

700 grams Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White) Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White)
1 tsp Salt
100 grams Sugar
225 ml JUST MILK warmed JUST MILK
200 ml Water warmed
50 grams Margarine
1 sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1 x 7g sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)

Topping:

100 grams Jam Sugar (Silver Spoon) Sprinkled Jam Sugar (Silver Spoon)
3 grams Lemon Grated rind, spinkled
100 grams Butter Melted

How to make Lemon Ring

  1. Place the flour, salt, sugar, milk, water, margarine and yeast in a mixer with a dough hook. method tip
  2. Mix into a soft dough, knead for 5 minutes.
  3. If mixing by hand knead for a further 5 minutes.
  4. Divide into 16 even sized pieces and roll into balls. method tip
  5. Layer the balls into a greased 25.5 cm (10in) round tin, coating with the topping.
  6. Prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 180°C/fan 160°C/gas mark 4 method tip
  7. Bake for 35 minutes. method tip
