Mocha Loaf

Create this coffee chocolate bread and enjoy anytime. If you have any left over this makes a rich indulgent bread and butter pudding too!

Mocha Loaf Ingredients
| 450 grams | Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White) | ![]() |
| 75 grams | Roughly Chopped Plain Chocolate | |
| 3 tbsp | Cocoa Powder | |
| 3 tbsp | Dark Muscovado Sugar (Billington's) | ![]() |
| 1.50 tsp | Salt | |
| 1 sachet | Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1x 7g sachet | ![]() |
| 4 tbsp | Melted Butter | |
| 225 ml | Espresso Coffee Cooled | |
| 3 tbsp | Water |

How to make Mocha Loaf

- Put the flour, chocolate, cocoa, sugar, salt and yeast into a bowl.
- Mix to a soft dough with the butter, coffee and water.
- Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
- Shape as desired and put into an appropriate greased tin.
- Leave to prove until double in size. Preheated the oven to 220°C/fan 200°C/Gas Mark 7
- Bake in an oven and immediately turn the heat down to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
