Ingredients
| 450 grams | Allinson Premium White Very Strong Bread Flour | ![]() |
| 1 tsp | Sugar | |
| 1 tsp | Salt | |
| 50 grams | Oatmeal | |
| 2 tsp | Mixed Spice | |
| 1 | Apple Peeled, Cored And Finely Chopped | |
| 2 tbsp | Skimmed Milk Powder | |
| 1 sachet | Allinsons Easy Bake Yeast | ![]() |
| 50 ml | Vegetable Oil | |
| 200 ml | Apple Juice | |
| Runny Honey To Glaze |
Method

- Place all of the ingredients into a mixer with a dough hook attached.
- Mix to a soft dough and knead for 5 minutes.
- If mixing by hand, put the flour, sugar, salt, oatmeal, spice, apple and milk powder into a bowl. Sprinkle on the yeast and mix to a soft dough with the oil and apple juice. Knead on a floured board for 10 minutes.
- Shape the mixture into 12 rounds and place into
a greased bun tin.
- Leave to prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5
- Bake for 20 minutes and glaze with runny honey while still warm.
