Ingredients

450 grams Allinson Premium White Very Strong Bread Flour
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
100 grams Margarine
150 ml Milk Warmed
150 ml Water Warmed
1 sachet Allinsons Easy Bake Yeast 1 x 7g sachet
100 grams Sultanas
75 grams Chopped Mixed Peel
Egg Glaze

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients into a mixer with a dough hook.
  2. Mix into a soft dough, knead for 5 minutes.
  3. If mixing by hand knead for a further 5 minutes.
  4. Divide into 6 portions – roll into finger shapes and place onto a greased baking tin.
  5. Leave to prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5
  6. Bake for 20 minutes.
