Strawberry Flapjack Ingredients

85 grams Butter unsalted
85 grams Light Muscovado Sugar (Billington's) Light Muscovado Sugar (Billington's)
150 grams Porridge Oats
150 grams Strawberries washed and chopped
3 tbsp Golden Syrup (Silver Spoon) Golden Syrup (Silver Spoon)

How to make Strawberry Flapjack

  1. Heat the oven to 160C (fan), 180C (conventional) gas mark 4
  2. Put the butter and sugar together in a bowl and mix together. method tip
  3. Add the golden syrup and mix well.
  4. Stir in the porridge oats.
  5. Stir in the chopped strawberry’s.
  6. Spoon the mix into a prepared 20cm shallow round baking dish and press down to cover the bottom of the dish.
  7. Bake for 20 mins or until the flapjak in golden brown and bubbling.
  8. Leave to go cold in the baking dish and then cut into wedges and serve cold with a dollop of clotted cream.
