Caraway Rye Bread Ingredients

200 grams Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White) Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White)
200 grams Rye Flour
1.25 tsp Sea Salt
1 tbsp Caraway Seeds
1 sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1 x 7g sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)
2 tbsp Sunflower Oil
2 tbsp Honey
225 ml Warm Water Warm

How to make Caraway Rye Bread

  1. Place all the ingredients into a mixer with a dough hook attached.
  2. Mix to a soft dough and knead for 5 minutes.
  3. If mixing by hand, put the dry ingredients into a bowl and sprinkle on the yeast.
  4. Mix to a soft dough with the oil, honey and water, turn onto a floured board and knead for 10 minutes. method tip
  5. Shape the dough into an oblong.
  6. Place onto a greased baking sheet, cut slats across the top and leave to prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5
  7. Bake for 30 minutes.
