Ingredients

225 ml Milk
2 tbsp Sunflower Oil
125 grams Cream cheese
2 tbsp Honey
1 ¼ tsp Salt
50 grams Almonds chopped
100 grams Ready to eat Apricots chopped
250 grams Allinson Premium White Very Strong Bread Flour
1 sachet Allinsons Easy Bake Yeast 1 x 7g sachet

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into a mixer with a dough hook attached.
  2. Knead in the machine for 5 minutes.
  3. If mixing by hand, put the flours, salt, apricots, nuts and yeast into a bowl.
  4. Mix to a soft dough with the oil, honey and cream cheese and milk.
  5. Turn onto a floured board and knead for 10 minutes. method tip
  6. Shape into a small round loaf and place onto a greased baking tray.
  7. Leave to prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6 method tip
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes. method tip
