Smoky Tomato Bread with Chorizo

Smoky Tomato Bread with Chorizo Ingredients
| 225 ml | Warm Water | |
| 3 tbsp | Sunflower Oil | |
| 2 tbsp | Tomato Puree | |
| 2 tbsp | Granulated Sugar (Silver Spoon Homegrown) | ![]() |
| 1.50 tsp | Salt | |
| 1 tsp | Smoked Paprika Powder | |
| 3 tbsp | Dried Onion Flakes | |
| 50 grams | Chorizo Sausage Finely diced | |
| 150 grams | Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium Wholemeal) | ![]() |
| 300 grams | Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White) | ![]() |
| 1 sachet | Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1 x 7g sachet | ![]() |

How to make Smoky Tomato Bread with Chorizo

- Put the flours, sausage, onion, paprika, sugar, salt and yeast into a bowl.
- Mix to a soft dough with the tomato puree, oil and water.
- Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
- Shape as desired and put into an appropriate greased tin.
- Leave to prove until double in size. Preheated the oven to 220°C/fan 200°C/Gas Mark 7
- Glaze with salted water and bake in an oven and immediately turn the heat down to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- When cooked the loaf should sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
