Smoky Tomato Bread with Chorizo Ingredients

225 ml Warm Water
3 tbsp Sunflower Oil
2 tbsp Tomato Puree
2 tbsp Granulated Sugar (Silver Spoon Homegrown) Granulated Sugar (Silver Spoon Homegrown)
1.50 tsp Salt
1 tsp Smoked Paprika Powder
3 tbsp Dried Onion Flakes
50 grams Chorizo Sausage Finely diced
150 grams Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium Wholemeal) Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium Wholemeal)
300 grams Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White) Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White)
1 sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1 x 7g sachet Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson)

How to make Smoky Tomato Bread with Chorizo

  1. Put the flours, sausage, onion, paprika, sugar, salt and yeast into a bowl.
  2. Mix to a soft dough with the tomato puree, oil and water.
  3. Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes. method tip
  4. Shape as desired and put into an appropriate greased tin. method tip
  5. Leave to prove until double in size. Preheated the oven to 220°C/fan 200°C/Gas Mark 7
  6. Glaze with salted water and bake in an oven and immediately turn the heat down to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  8. When cooked the loaf should sound hollow when tapped on the bottom. method tip
