Bruschetta Starter

Bruschetta Starter Ingredients
| 600 grams | Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson) | ![]() |
| 1 tsp | Salt | |
| 1 tsp | Golden Granulated Sugar (Billington's) | ![]() |
| 15 grams | Hard White Vegetable Fat | |
| 1 sachet | Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) 1 x 7g sachet | ![]() |
| 400 ml | Warm Water |
Additional Ingredients
| 6 | Plum Tomatoes | |
| 100 grams | Mixed olives | |
| Olive oil to drizzle |

How to make Bruschetta Starter

- Place the flour, salt, sugar, vegetable fat, yeast and water into a mixer with a dough hook attachment.
- Mix to a soft dough, knead for 5 minutes.
- If mixing by hand, put the dry ingredients into a bowl and sprinkle on the yeast.
- Mix to a soft dough, turn onto a floured board and knead for 10 minutes.
- Roll into one large rope and place on a greased baking tray.
- Prove intil doubled in size. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 220 C/ fan 200 C/ gas mark 7.
- Bake for up to 40 minutes.
- Slice into 12 slices, bake the slices for 10 minutes until crisp, drizzle with olive oil and serve with the tomatoes and olives.
