Ciabatta Ingredients
| 50 grams | Very Strong Bread Flour (Allinson Premium White) | ![]() |
| 450 grams | Strong White Bread Flour (Allinson) | ![]() |
| 2 tsp | Golden Granulated Sugar (Billington's) | ![]() |
| 1.50 tsp | Salt | |
| 1.25 tsp | Easy Bake Yeast (Allinson) | ![]() |
| 4 tbsp | Olive Oil | |
| 285 ml | Warm Water |
Additional Ingredients
| 4 tbsp | bunch of fresh coriander, chopped |

How to make Ciabatta

- Put the flour, sugar, salt and yeast into a bowl.
- Mix to a soft dough with the oil and water.
- Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into two pieces.
- Stretch each piece into a rough circle about this size of a dinner plate and then fold like an envelope to give the traditional ciabatta shape.
- Place the loaves on a greased baking tray and leave covered with a tea towel until slightly risen. Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6
- Dust liberally with flour and bake in an oven for 15-20 minutes until well risen and puffy.
- Leave on a wire rack to cool.
