How to convert Easy Bake Yeast into a recipe for Dried Active Yeast

How to convert Easy Bake Yeast into a recipe for Dried Active Yeast

For Dried Active yeast, dissolve 1 tsp sugar in 150ml warm water (1 part boiling to 2 parts cold). Sprinkle over 15 g (1/2oz  or 1 level tbsp) Dried active yeast and whisk thoroughly. Leave in a warm place  for about 15 minutes or until the surface is covered with about 1 cm of froth. Whisk again and add to the remaining bread  ingredients together with another 200ml water. Bread made with dried active yeast will need two risings. Knead the dough for 10 minutes, return to the bowl, cover with oiled cling film or a damp tea towel and leave to rise until doubled in size. Tip the dough out onto the work surface, punch it down and knead again for a few minutes. Shape into a loaf and place in the bread tin (or make rolls) and allow to rise until doubled in size again. Bake as for the usual recipe.
