Pizza Making

  • Mix the flour, salt and sugar in a bowl
  • Stir in the yeast
  • Make a well in the centre and add the warm water
  • Mix together
  • Bring together to form a ball
  • Knead
  • Push the dough forward and turn it back on itself
  • Use smooth and even actions
  • Turn the dough every time you push it
  • Continue for 5-10 minutes until the dough is smooth and springy
  • Dust with flour, Cover and leave to prove
  • Divide the dough and cover whilst each one is shaped
  • Dust the work surface and dough
  • Roll out to about 0.5cm thich
  • Rotate the dough as you roll
  • Place on a baking tray
  • Cover with lightly oiled cling film
  • Rest for about 15 minutes before topping and making
