  • 900g 31⅞ oz Blueberries
  • 900g 31⅞ oz Unrefined golden caster sugar (we use Billington's) Unrefined golden caster sugar
  • 125ml 4¼ fl oz Apple/liquid pectin
  • 50ml 1¾ fl oz Lemon juice

The Method Enter Bake mode

  1. Classic mode Step 1

    Blend the blueberries in a liquidiser or a food processor until pureed.

    • 900g 31⅞ oz Blueberries
  2. Classic mode Step 2

    Place the prepared fruit in a large bowl and stir in the sugar.

    Leave the mixture to stand for 1 hour, stirring frequently to dissolve the sugar.

  4. Classic mode Step 4

    Mix in the liquid pectin and lemon juice. Stir well for 2 minutes or until all the sugar has dissolved.

    • 50ml 1¾ fl oz Lemon juice
  5. Classic mode Step 5

    Transfer to small, sterile freezer pots. Cover and leave to stand in a cool place for 24 hours.

  6. Classic mode Step 6

    Store in a freezer for up to 6 months. To use, transfer to the fridge to defrost.
