Icing sugars

Icing sugar, also known as powdered sugar or confectioners sugar, is made by sifting and grinding regular white granulated sugar resulting in a fine powder. It is usually mixed with a small amount of anti-caking agent to keep it dry and free flowing. There are a variety of icing sugars you can use to suit your baking needs.

We recommend using icing sugars made from Silver Spoon sugar beet as you can be confident they have been grown and produced in the UK and supports local British farmers. Silver Spoon produces the only sugar grown in Britain, supporting over 1,200 local farmers in the East Anglia region.
