If you are watching your weight but still want a treat, try these delicious low fat, low sugar biscuits. This recipe makes 20 biscuits with 113 calories per biscuit.
Pre heat the oven to 190°C (fan 170°C, gas mark 5). Line two baking trays with baking parchment.
Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat well until smooth. If the mixture is a little soft, chill it for half an hour.
Roll out the mixture on a floured work surface then cut the mixture into rounds with a biscuit cutter.
Bake the biscuits for 10-13 mins until lightly browned then allow to cool completely. They will keep for 3-4 days if stored in a air-tight container.

Added icing with orange rind on another few, or if you have ribeena cordial use that instead of a teaspoon of water. I ate 2 and my sugars did not rise in my bloods. Maybe from 4.8 to 6.5 and thats a treat to me.

When i rolled it out i put sesame seeds on it and gave one or two more rolls to set them in it. I grated lemon peel into the mix as well. I put 6 to the side and mixed cinnamon before i rolled them out. Not as sweet but i am diabetic.
