Created by Eric Lanlard this recipe features in his book 'Home Bake'. Method Preheat the oven to 180ºC (160ºC fan, 350ºF, gas mark 4). Grease a 24 x 20cm (9½ x 8in) baking tin with extra butter and line the base and sides with baking paper. Gently melt the butter, sugar and golden syrup in a saucepan being careful not to let it boil. Stir in the porridge oats, chopped exotic fruits and salt, and mix thoroughly.
