Be creative and use your bread maker to mix and knead the dough, then enjoy shaping and baking the bread. This will create an absolutely lovely loaf with a hint of sweetness, very moist and tasty.

Method

  1. Put the ingredients into the bread maker baking pan in the order specified for your particular model (see manufacturer’s handbook). Set to the basic white program to bake through out.

  2. Alternatively, make the bread dough using the dough setting on your bread maker, once completed leave to rest for 5 minutes.

  3. Shape and bake in the centre of a preheated oven 230°C (210°C, gas mark 8)  for 15 minutes then reduce the oven temperature to 200°c (180°C fan, gas mark 6) and cook for a further 15-20 minutes until the bread is risen and golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped underneath.
