Why not try making this plum jam, perfect for breakfast or tea.

Method

  1. Wash the plums well. Stone them and chop finely.  

  2. Place chopped plums and apple juice in a pan and bring to the boil. Simmer for ten minutes. Return to a full rolling boil and boil hard for ten minutes

  3. Add Certo to the pot and cover immediately. Pour into sterilised pots and use sterilised lids. Store in a refrigerator and once opened consume within two weeks.
