This chocolate chip fairy cakes recipe is so simple, it is an ideal recipe to get kids to help you with. Use your imagination to decorate the cakes, have fun and get creative!
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C (fan 170°C, gas mark 5). Beat together the butter, caster sugar, eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
Sieve the flour and baking powder into the mixture and combine. Fold in the chocolate chips and fudge chunks.
Spoon the mixture into 12 cakes cases and bake for 12 - 15 minutes until golden
Leave to cool on a wire rack before decorating with fondant icing and sprinkle decorations.
Just made them they are lovely will be making them again
These were easy to make , next time would put mixture in more cake cases as was over filled this time , but taste lovely would use 18 case cases instead of 12

Easy and super tasty. Hit with everyone. I didn't used any fudge pieces, I used 100g of choc chunks. YUMMY!!!
