Gum arabic is an edible powdered form of the natural gum from the Acacia tree and has multiple using in cake decorating from using it as a glue or as a glaze and varnish.
To make a glue: Mix 2 tsp with 60ml of water
To make a glaze varnish:Mix 2tsp with 60ml of water to give a shine to sugar paste and marzipan. You can add several layers, allowing each layer to dry before adding another.
